Please Save IJN!

I have 2 questions;

Firstly, why in the world that Sime Darby wants to take over IJN if not because of money, money and money?

Secondly and more important question is why the government wants to take the easy route out and let Sime Darby to take over? Is our government so broke that it can no longer financially support IJN?

GLC is no government, they operate to make profits, it is as simple as that. If Sime Darby really wants to contribute, then they should adopt a ward or a division in IJN and pay for it, not to take over IJN.

'Treatment for the poor will be guaranteed.....'

Haven't we heard that before? What sort of guarantee the government is going to give? How is the government going to guarantee that the poor won't be treated like an outcast in their own country? How is the government going to guarantee that the poor doesn't need to wait hours or months behind the rich before getting treatment? Will the government subsidise the medical bill for the poor? Will the government pump in a few more hundred millions of tax payers money to Sime Darby so that they won't increase the medical fee? Will the government or worse the people be at the mercy of Sime Darby later on?

IJN has served the country well, please leave it alone.

By the way, has anyone checked with IJN staff on this matter? Arent they the heart and soul of IJN? Lets get their opinion on this matter, they deserve that!
