Krabi - Part 1

Let me put it to you, there is nothing special in Krabi Town except this traffic light! I am not sure how many people will spend time & money just to go to see traffic light. If you are planning to go to Krabi, you should spend your time in Aonang Beach where all the activities are.

Krabi airport is quite new & nice. If you are travelling alone or only 2 of of you, i would recommend that you take the shuttle bus which cost around RM 9.00 to Krabi Town and RM 15 each to Aonang Beach. You can find the shuttle bus counter just after you clear the immigration. Buy the ticket and look for white bus at the exit door. Dont worry, you wont get lost or missed the bus.....there is only one way out!

If by one way or the other you ended up in Krabi Town, you can actually take this so -called 'songthaew' which loosely translated 'car motor' to Aonang whch only cost around RM 5 per person. Remember, it is white in colour and their station is nearby the unique traffic light, at the 7-11 outlet.

I would recommend that you only look for your hotel only when you are in Aonang as there are plenty of them and besides that you can actually bargain for a lower price if you are staying for more than 1 night. Anyway if you are travelling with kids or you are just plain lazy to walk then book the hotel prior your visit.

I stayed in Aonang Beach Resort and i would definitely recommend it to friends as it was strategically located in the middle of Aonang Beach.The rate is reasonable by Aonang standard, around RM 200-250 per night. If you dont take their breakfast, you will save more on the rate. Their breakfast is simple...i mean really simple, besides being convenient, there is nothing special about their breakfast though.
Aonang has only 1 main road, the Aonang Beach Resort is right in the middle. Along the road you can find endless row of shops selling eveything you need and everything you dont need.

Just across the road you can see nice beach and many 'mat salleh' sunbathing. If you are bringing kids, try to avoid the beach during the day time unless you want to give them biology lesson or dont mind spending your time explaining to them why all the ladies lying naked under the hot sun....over and over again.....

If you wish to have your husband attention, dont do it at the beach in the afternoon, im sure his minds and eyes will be somewhere else.

PIKOM PC Fair 2008

Yapedapedoo!!!....its PIKOM PC Fair coming to town!

Its the time of the year when Mr BIG will go to cuci mata on all the cheap-cheap computers & accessories........and the sales girls as well!!

This year is no different from previous years, many Melakans also went to PC Fair to look for the best bargain. So its really "jam.....jam.....jam" !!! Look at the traffic! Mr BIG has to park miles away and sweat like crazy when reached the Fair.

The crowd was bigger on the last day because they thought the vendors will 'lelong' all their goods. Nowadays the vendors also smartleh, the price for the last day sometimes was higher than the first day!
Although the number of booths was not as many compared to previous fairs, its enough to make you sweat..and got lost a few times. A good mixture of goods though, from laptop to camera to accessories, to projectors and many other things!


It was really packed, people really pushing and shoving each other in order to move forward. Not that Mr BIG mind when the one pushing was a 21 yrs old sweetheart, but more often that not it was a 50 yrs big, tall & hairy uncle who last taken his bath maybe when he was 12 years old! To be stucked under his armpits was like you were trapped in a garbage bin, in a garbage truck at a garbage disposal area like for eternity.....you got the picture? Yuckkkkkkk!!!!!

Mr BIG actually wanted to buy a 8GB pendrive & a lamp only, nothing more, nothing less! Times are bad leh, cannot simply spend. Anyway that was the plan until Mr BIG met this sales girl......aiyoo.....so cute! Look at the smilelah, even metal also can melt!



then this happened:

Cute girl (CG) : Sir, may i help you?
Mr BIG (MB) : Yes, may i have you....err......i mean the pendrive & the lamp?

CG : The pendrive is RM 46 & the lamp is RM 18, ok?

MB: okkkkkkkk.......

CG : Sir, the MP4 is also cheapleh, why dont u take one too?

MB: okkkkkkkk.........

CG: Why dont u take the multiple sockets as well?

MB:okkkkkkk........

CG: How about this earphone?

MB: okkkkkk.......

CG: OK sir, RM 229 pls.

MB: okkkk..........

CG : Thank you & good bye sir!

MB: Okkkkk.......

(The a fren came)

Fren: Woi, why r u buying these things????

MB: okkkkkk........

(The above conversation was close to the actual conversation, Mr BIG can't recall much as Mr BIG lost his consciousness & his sensibility right after the girl smiled!)


Haii.....everyone has their weaknesses right?

It looks like someone will get a MP4, a headphone and a socket for Xmas gift, thanks to our cute girl!
